Dear members of Amnesty International USA Turkey Regional Action Network (AIUSA-TURKRAN),

I am excited to share with you an innovative virtual protest campaign in Taksim Square “Back on Taksim” which was initiated by Amnesty International Turkey. This internet campaign allows you to add your name to the protest against police violence in Turkey. To do so, please visit “Back on Taksim“ and place yourself around Taksim Square using Facebook, Twitter, or Google+.

Please encourage your friends and families to join this virtual protest campaign along with Amnesty online petition. Join us to demand the Turkish authorities to immediately end the use of excessive force against peaceful protesters and restore the rights to freedom of expression and assembly.
