Amnesty International Condemns Bombing on Turkish-Syrian Border

Amnesty International condemns the bombing on February 11  at Turkey’s Cilvegözü border crossing with Syria, which killed 14 and injured many more.

The bombing occurred in an area where major loss of life was likely and where humanitarian supplies are sent into Syria.  Such attacks, Amnesty ‘s statement notes, “demonstrate contempt for the fundamental principles of international law.”
