In a statement today, Amnesty International condemned the bombing of the US Embassy in Ankara:  “Any attacks of this kind which recklessly cause casualties among the general population or put them at risk demonstrate contempt for the fundamental principles of humanity.”

Since the publication of this statement, DHKP-C claimed responsibility for the bombing with a statement on their website.
