A victory for freedom of speech and the right to conscientious objection

Four men, including Halil Savda have been acquitted for supporting the right to conscientious objection to military service.  They had been charged with “alienating the public from military service.”  Savda was also acquitted in a separate, but similar, case in which he was the sole defendant.
